Roots & Shoots Earth Aware participates in the Run Wild for Wildlife - Halloween Fun Run
On October 25, 2009 the Roots & Shoots Earth Aware group participated in the Halloween Fun Run at Hawrelak Park, in support of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton.
This was our first official event which focused on bringing awareness to the wildlife animal community. Members dressed up for the event as monkeys, a tree and Dr. Jane to bring awareness to the Roots & Shoots organization also!
A generous donation of pumpkins was provided by the Stony Plain Coop to help decorate the event.
